Virtual run FAQ — every question we get, answered straight

A virtual run is a running event you complete on your own — any route, any time inside the event window — instead of at a physical start line. You register online, record the distance with a running app or watch, submit it, and receive the event's medal and certificate by post. VPR virtual runs are verified through Strava, Garmin or Apple Health and the medal ships within 30 days of the deadline.

Three steps. 1) Register for an edition and pick a distance (5K, 10K, 21K or 42K) and a tier (medal only, medal + shirt, or full kit). 2) Run it anywhere inside the window — one run or split across days — and sync it from Strava, Garmin, Coros or Apple Health. 3) The medal ships to your door within 30 days of the deadline, tracked.

Yes. Cumulative distance inside the window counts. A 42K can be six 7K runs. Treadmill runs count when they are recorded by your watch or app.

Series 01 pricing in the Philippines: ₱645 (medal), ₱1,095 (medal + shirt) or ₱1,495 (full kit), plus ₱100 delivery anywhere in the Philippines. International pricing for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia will be published per edition.

Medals are produced after the completion deadline and ship within 30 days of it. Every edition publishes its ship-by date on the calendar page before registration opens. Delivery is tracked (J&T in the Philippines).

Series 01 has four editions, one per Philippine national holiday. Each 70 × 130 mm die-cast medal is a unique design that also works as a puzzle piece. Lock all four together on the free backing plaque and a map of the Philippines appears — each medal on its own shows only a texture change, not a map.

Series 01 is Philippine-themed and ships from Manila. VPR is built as a global platform: Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia follow in 2027, and challenges can be completed from anywhere in the world with international delivery.

Runs are read from your Strava, Garmin, Coros or Apple Health activity, including GPS or treadmill distance, date and duration. Manually typed activities are not accepted. If you have no watch, the free Strava app on your phone is enough.

Yes. Running clubs, offices and schools can register a team on one invoice, get a private leaderboard, and ship medals to one address or to each runner. See the companies page.

A virtual run has a fixed distance and a short window (typically 2–6 weeks). A virtual challenge is a longer cumulative goal — for example 1,850 km across the Philippines over 129 days — tracked on a map. VPR Series 01 editions are virtual runs; distance challenges launch with the VPR app in 2027.

Yes. Every finisher gets a personalised digital certificate with distance, time and edition number, issued automatically when your run is verified.

You can still receive the medal for a small fulfilment fee if you complete the distance within 14 days after the window; after that the entry lapses. We say this up front so nobody is surprised.

Each medal is die-cast zinc alloy, 70 × 130 mm, 2.5–3 mm thick with 3D relief, soft enamel and a dual-finish background, on a sublimated ribbon. Samples are approved before every production run and photographed on the edition page.
