The VPR medal set: four holidays, one hidden map of the Philippines
Every VPR Series 01 medal is a 70 × 130 mm die-cast, 3D-relief, dual-finish medal with its own design — and a puzzle edge. Lock all four together on the free backing plaque and a map of the Philippines appears across the seams. Held alone, a medal shows a texture change, not a map. You only see it when the set is complete.

Why the map is hidden
Because a medal that is obviously one quarter of something is a fragment; a medal that is complete on its own — and secretly part of something bigger — is a collection. The reveal order is deliberate: the least recognisable tile (Palawan and the Sulu Sea) ships first, Luzon appears with medal 3 in June, and the biggest land tile, Visayas–Mindanao, completes the picture in August. Runners who finish all four get a fifth enamel pin, "Bituin".
How VPR medals compare
Standard Philippine virtual-run medals are 60–75 mm round zinc, single finish, ₱90–150 landed at volume. Conqueror medals are 80–100 mm with licensed artwork at US$35–40 per challenge. VPR's 70 × 130 mm format costs roughly three times a standard medal to make — which is why the medal tier is ₱645 and not ₱395 — and why we publish the ship date and the sample photos before you pay.
